Trusted Minds Therapy
Counselling and Supervision that creates positive change

Face-to-Face
Session

Face-to-face counselling

I have a safe, confidential space where we can meet in person to discuss your concerns.

My therapy room is comfortable and private to ensure you won’t be overheard or interrupted.

I am close to the centre of Broadstone, on a bus route and have well lit street parking nearby.

Walk-and-Talk
Session

Walk-and-talk counselling

I offer an alternative to traditional face-to-face therapy where we meet outdoors and conduct the session while walking.

The combination of physical activity and therapeutic conversation can reduce stress, elevate mood, and enhance mental clarity.

This can also create a less intense atmosphere for clients who find traditional therapy settings confining.

Online
Session

Meeting online & Email Therapy

Counselling sessions online offer flexibility and convenience while maintaining the same therapeutic goals as an in-person session.

Meeting online is effective for a wide range of issues, and provides a convenient option to access therapy from wherever you are living or working, here or abroad.

Email Therapy offers the benefits of convenience, reflection time, and anonymity making it a flexible, accessible and alternative option.

Do I need to prepare for my counselling session?

Preparing for a counselling session is not necessary but can sometimes help you get the most out of your time and make the experience more effective. This may involve reflecting on your concerns, being open and honest, and managing your expectations.

Is Counselling confidential?

Trust is a big part in you feeling safe to talk to me about your thoughts and feelings. Confidentiality is important in creating this trust and helps create a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges without fear of judgment.

Supervision
for counsellors
and couple therapists

I am an integrative clinical supervisor offering both online and face‑to‑face supervision for counsellors and couple therapists. I provide a safe, supportive, and non‑judgemental space where you can explore your work openly, develop confidence, and grow professionally.

My supervision practice is grounded in the Hawkins and Shohet Seven‑Eyed Model, supporting you to reflect deeply on your work and develop ethical, thoughtful, and effective practice. I work collaboratively, drawing on a broad foundation of psychological theory and ethical frameworks to deepen understanding, enhance your clinical skills, and promote best practice.

Clinical supervision is not simply a more formal version of being helpful to another practitioner.

In everyday professional conversations, we may offer perspective, reassurance, ideas, or a thoughtful response to what someone brings. These exchanges can be valuable—they can help you feel less alone, less stuck, and able to return to your work with greater clarity.

Supervision, however, offers something more intentional and sustaining.

As your supervisor, I am not only listening to the clinical material. I am also attending to your thinking process, the boundaries of responsibility, the ethical context, the relational dynamics, and how the work is being held over time.

Together, we create a reflective space where you can slow down, think clearly, recognise what belongs to you, and stay connected to your own clinical judgement.

"I have been working with Catherine for a very long time now, and I honestly feel I always will!  She has helped me process heavy childhood trauma that I thought would always plague me. Perhaps it will, but when it rears its ugly head now it no longer floors me.
